Think of me as the person who takes all those ideas you’ve been collecting and helps you make sense of them — then turns them into something even better than you imagined.

I’ve always been drawn to design, beautiful spaces and the way thoughtful details can completely change how something feels. With a background in interior design and as a qualified florist, I naturally see a wedding as more than individual arrangements — I see the whole picture.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating florals and styling for countless weddings, and with that experience has come something you can’t learn from a textbook: instinct. Knowing what will work in a space, where to create impact, when something needs more — and sometimes, when it needs less.

I’m constantly learning, experimenting and refining my craft. I love discovering new techniques, finding unexpected combinations and looking for ways to make each celebration feel different from the one before it. I don’t want to simply recreate an image you’ve found online. I want to understand what you love about it, what matters to you, and then create something that feels like it belongs to your wedding.

For me, the best part of what I do is earning your trust. Give me your ideas, tell me how you want your day to feel, and let me take care of bringing it all together — so when you finally see it, it feels even better than you imagined.

Beyond the flowers

When I’m not immersed in flowers, colour palettes and wedding details, life is usually pretty full with my family. I love watching my kids do what they love and cheering them on from the sidelines — although I’ll admit, I can get a little too invested in a basketball game.

Home life is busy, so I’m naturally someone who likes things organised, but there’s always room for creativity. I’m forever dreaming up another project for our home, getting crafty with the kids or finding an excuse to spend time in my garden — one of my absolute favourite places to be.

Perhaps that’s also why weddings mean so much to me. Beneath all the beautiful details, they’re really about people — the ones you love, the moments you share and creating a setting that becomes part of those memories forever.

I think that combination of creativity, organisation and determination is a big part of who I am. I set high standards for myself and care deeply about getting things right. Whether it’s at home or creating a wedding, if I’m doing something, I’m all in — I’ll work through every last detail until I know I’ve created something I’m genuinely proud of.

Q: What’s your favourite venue you’ve worked at?

That’s a hard one — every venue brings something different, but there are a few that will always be favourites.

Tanglewood Estate will always hold a special place for me. It’s where I married my husband on 18 March 2017, so returning there to create weddings for other couples feels incredibly special. I also love how many different spaces there are to work with, each with its own character and possibilities. No two weddings there need to feel the same, and creatively, that makes it such an exciting venue to return to.

Chapter Barn feels a little like a second home. I’ve worked there many times and there’s something about knowing a venue so well that allows the creativity to flow. I understand the spaces, what works within them and where we can create those moments of impact — while still making each wedding feel completely different from the last.

Stones of the Yarra Valley is another favourite. It’s such an iconic setting and one that gives you so much to work with creatively. From the surrounding landscape to the beautiful spaces within the property, it’s the kind of venue where thoughtful floral design can really become part of the entire setting.

Sophia at The Prahran Arcade is one I love for its architecture. The arched windows, soaring ceilings and beautiful heritage details already give the space so much character. I love designing florals that work with those architectural elements rather than competing with them — enhancing what is already an incredible space.

Rupert on Rupert has a character all of its own, but it’s the ceremony space and its creative possibilities that I really love. There’s a simplicity to the space that gives us the freedom to completely transform it — from statement ceremony designs to their iconic hanging installations. It’s a beautiful example of how the right floral design can take a space and turn it into something extraordinary.

Ask me again after the next wedding season and I might have a few new favourites to add to the list. I’ve got some beautiful new venues coming up that I can’t wait to work at — there’s always something exciting about walking into a new space and imagining what we could create there and then creating it!
